March 2012 horoscope for Aquarius

March will be such a complex but interesting month!
In the middle of such a chaotic time in politics and global financial turmoil, we may experience a little prospect of recovery or at least a momentary rise in our hopes, thanks to Jupiter, the lord of prosperity and good fortune and Pluto the transformer and powerful planet, beautifully aspecting each other, for the first two weeks of March.
This is the third and last meeting of Jupiter and Pluto, which have been on and off since July 2011. The area where Jupiter is traveling in your chart is where you can see the light of hope.
Mercury the planet that rules transportation, travel, communication, learning, and the media, is retrograde from March 12th until April 4th. Mars and Saturn are retrograde as well, so we have to adjust our timing with the Cosmos; in other words, be patient and don’t hurry on your projects, but instead go over them as many times as is needed to make them absolutely perfect.
Success and improvement will come... slowly but surely.
And here comes the Equinox, representing the first day of the year in astrology and we are eager to start something new.

Mercury enters Aries on the 2nd and we tend to think less and talk more. We can get stuck in trying to prove our points of view. It’s healthier to stop shouting and quit proclaiming truths that are really only opinions.

However use the first 10 days of March, to get your tasks taken care of, like buying electronics if needed, traveling, moving, relocating, launching projects or presenting a business proposition before Mercury goes retrograde on the 12th.

Mercury will make his home in the area of communication, so you will be very busy with papers, documents, contracts… maybe doing your taxes or just sending out emails etc… and you better hurry up with all these matters, dear Aquarius, because Mercury will retrograde in this area soon.
In a couple of days, on the 5th, Mercury will be in great aspect with Uranus, making you very creative and generating some sparks of unusual ideas. Uranus is your ruler planet, as you know, so it’s a very special day for communications and travel, some of you may even make an amazing discovery. Think of Einstein having a brainstorm!
This event will repeat on the 18th; the potential is not the same, because Mercury will be retrograde by then, so hurry up, call and contact people of your interest and get all your taxes done before the 12th.
Venus the lady that rules love, beauty, the arts and luxury is entering the sign of Taurus, the most sensual and steady sign, today the 5th.
We don’t want superficial love, we want a stable relationship.
The arts will benefit from this time, which is lasting until April 3rd. We can see improvements in the cosmetic industry, like the launching of an amazing product or an FDA approval of a beauty contraption that can improve something relating to the human body.

Mercury is retrograde in Aries, the sign of action and energy. Mars the planet that also rules action and energy is also retrograde in Virgo since January 23rd and remains there until April 13th.
Mars is in Mercury’s ruling sign (Virgo) and Mercury is in Mars ruling sign (Aries); as we say in astrology, they are in mutual reception, which is when each planet is in the sign ruled by the other.
To understand what a mutual reception is think of time-share house-swaps: you have an apartment in New York City and want to summer in Brazil; someone in Brazil wants to come to New York at the same time. The deal is made, you live in each other’s homes, getting very close together without ever meeting, and the mutual exchange touches both lives.
This fact will empower both planets and the retrograde action will be much stronger, which could create quite a frustrating energy. Currently, we can’t count on the energy we need to initiate something or to stay in action. We may experience problems in transportation, travel, railways, flying, in sending correspondence, computer related issues and most activities that include action, such as sports, protests and decision-making.
The working class can be impaired by things like having to wait for any measures or reform action about to be taken in their favor.
With everything, it feels like the whole world is in slow motion…
If we insist in acting fast and getting our projects done, we may become very frustrated because, IT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN AT THIS TIME!

We have to take this time to perfect out projects, redo them, review them, return to places we have been to before, and reconnect with people we haven’t seen for long time. We ought to research deeply subjects of our interest, and most importantly, we have to be patient and let the results unfold at their own pace.
Step back! Relax, Mercury goes direct on April 4th and Mars on April 13th and then you will have the best and most perfect and precise project or decision organized or made, ready to be launched.
For you dear Aquarius, Mercury will retrograde right in his own house, as we say in astrology, because it is the area of your chart ruled by Mercury, that deals with communications, short travel, siblings and neighbors. As you may be aware, Mercury retrograde can cause a lot of trouble in communications, mistaking dates and information, such as sending the wrong email to the wrong addressee… and so on.
Just pay attention to these matters and keep your agenda updated and at hand.
Be aware of miscommunication with siblings, and when traveling, make sure your car is checked by a mechanic before you take the highway, just as a precaution.
This energy will be valid only until the 25th when Mercury goes back to your area of money and then you have to watch out for your expenses and make sure you keep your spending under control; Mercury will remain in this area of money until April 12th.
This reciprocity dear Aquarius, between Mars and Mercury, will also touch your money issues area; the assets you and your spouse share; so make sure everything is well spoken beforehand, to avoid arguments and misunderstandings.
You tend to spend money that doesn’t belong to you at this time, either in a moment of shopaholic compulsion or just to make your partner or spouse mad… and you will be very successful with that….
You might use your credit card, relaying on some money that is coming, but Mercury will spend some time in your area of money, and the check or payment you are expecting may not come on time or will be misaddressed or even lost.

It’s a fantastic time to review your investments or make adjustments to your savings plan. Unfortunately this beautiful energy won’t be in full range, because we can’t count on Mars and Mercury, which will be asleep and slow.
But just the fact that they are retrograde and under this fortunate transit, may protect us from something harmful that could have been worse if we didn’t have this blessed aspect and the retrograding planets.
This planetary configuration could cause something like that lucky unsuccessful attempt to bomb Times Square a couple years ago when the police caught the bomber in time and avoided the worst.
