October 2011 Horoscope
The first two weeks of October will be a little rough, thanks to the effect of the last new moon on September 27th.
For everyone in all signs, it’s advised to hold off initiating anything big like the launching of a project, an important business meeting or a romantic date, because the energies will be very hard on us.
I don’t want to distress anybody; instead I want to inform you so you may protect yourself from being frustrated by taking certain steps that may not unfold very well when, with information, you could prevent things from going off the rails.
Just observe what comes up and be impassive; don’t take anything personally because people will be in a very bad mood…
You can always improve situations with a bit of planning, so keep your agenda VERY light.
But…in the last two weeks of October we have a golden triangle in the sky, which will send extraordinary energies to improve our lives. The expansive energy of Jupiter aligns in a harmonious way with the underworld lord, Pluto.
On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Mars’s energy of action and conflicts is inflated by the Jupiter influence in a very stressful angle, so any little conflict can develop into a battle.
Ouch! It will be so impactful for you dear Sagittarius, this clash of the Titans; your ruler planet Jupiter and fiery Mars will speed up your energy and enthusiasm.
Please remember dear Sagi, less is more and you are under an energy that can boost your tendency to overdo; to overeat, to over talk to drive everybody NUTS around you.
Calm down! Meditate in the mornings and organize your days in a way so you won’t spend more energy and time than you need to with the wrong subject.
Traveling is very likely these days, but don’t try any extreme sports during this time or you can hurt yourself. Plan your trip, and make sure you check all the reservations, and before you leave your home, make sure you carry your passport with you. You are so clumsy and hectic these days! Try to calm down! If you are able take control of your emotions, you’ll be able to accomplish a lot without the stress.
Mars is in the loud sign of Leo and simple news can have a serious overtone, alarming all of us. So cut by half any extraordinary news you hear before you despair and take any action.
Venus enters the mysterious sign of Scorpio; the dark side of our souls will be in focus. Love and hate will walk side by side. We become more jealous and intense in our relationships.

The love planet is not very comfortable in steamy Scorpio for you dear Sagi. According to astrological tradition, it’s an energy that you aren’t familiar with; you are the most spontaneous person and dissimulation is not part of your personality. You forgive easily and you don’t hold grudges. So this time you may feel like not socializing very much but instead, you may want to work for a charity foundation or help those in need.
The full moon on the 11th, at 18º Aries will be the culmination of the rough ride that started at the last new moon on September 27th. Saturn will be joining forces with the Sun in Libra and the moon on the opposite side, in Aries.
We have serious issues to take care of during this time. It’s like, we either learn our lessons on freewill or the universe will twist our arms until we bend.
You may feel like you have your arms and legs tied, preventing you from taking action.
You may experience some drama in your love area, or a friend may disappoint you.
Mercury enters Scorpio on the 13th until November 2nd.
We want to learn and dive into the source and the core of any problem or issue. We are passionate in our speech.
Speaking of Mercury, plan your coming month of November now; Mercury will retrograde from November 24th, until December 13th. Time goes by so quickly, seems like he was retrograde a while ago. Don't buy your tickets for the holidays during this time, when he is retrograde, so make sure you make your reservation and vacation plans as early as November 17th, seven days before Mercury starts walking backward. On November 25th right after Mercury retrogrades, we have a partial solar Eclipse in Sagittarius. So plan an ‘open schedule’ in advance for that time frame when we should observe and not take any action.
Mercury the lord of communication is now transiting your area of hidden matter and the subconscious mind. You may have a lot of insights and awaken some talents you didn’t know you possessed. Your intuition is stronger and could be very accurate; so pay attention to your dreams and follow your heart during this time.
On the 14th your planet Jupiter and Venus the goddess of love, are trying to be in balance, and the order is love with moderation if you don’t want to get hurt. Or remove your pink colored lens and cut down the exaggeration. This person may not be ‘all that,’ dear Sagittarius.
But you could receive great help from someone who loves you secretly, to improve a work project.
On the 17th it’s Mercury who will confront and look for balance with your ruler planet Jupiter. This is a good time to learn to listen to others’ points of view. I know this is hard for you, because you think you are a ‘messenger of divine truth’ and you don’t accept others’ input, but here you have a great opportunity to evolve dear Sagittarius, I’m not trying to hurt your feelings but instead alert you about something a lot of people may be saying about you behind your back…. Trust me! I’m your friend.
The Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd. Scorpio deals with the most fundamental process of transformation. The time the Sun crosses the path of Scorpio; we tend to act in secrecy and with intense emotional desires.
The Sun in your subconscious mind will help you to see things that you normally don’t pay attention to. Be attentive and awake. Some people tend to have insomnia at this time, because they are afraid of their insecurities and they want to be on guard and avoid feelings they don’t want to face. This would be a great time to look for a therapist; you would benefit a great deal.
On the 25th 26th and 27th, Mars is in great aspect to Saturn. We gain a tremendous capacity to organize and work fast and effectively towards the ends. Our work is more productive and goal-oriented. It’s a good time to upgrade any area that is mature and ripe, like a project or a major decision.
The new moon on the 26th at 03º Scorpio will be tough for any relationship and agreements in general. Mars is in rough aspect with Mercury and Venus, which can be translated into conflicts, riots and disagreements.
The tabloids may be gossiping about the split of a celebrity couple. The reporters will be loud and cruel when giving us the news. Drama, intensity, death and tragedy are the tone of this new moon. Jupiter is conducting the Opera across from the Sun and Moon, adding grandiosity and exaggeration. We might be super sensitive to everything we say to each other.
Don’t even think of traveling during this time and PLEASE dear Sagittarius, again, stop arguing with others trying to prove you are right, or your philosophy is better than someone else’s; this is not going to work this time, and you were never so wrong. You think you know but this time, you DON”T.
I know you have the best intuition, but during this period in time, you can’t separate the wheat from the chaff.
Between October 23rd and November 3rd, Jupiter and Pluto are making the most positive and harmonious angle to each other. October 28th is the exact day.
MY LORD! This is the BEST energy in the world for you. This is a FABULOUS time for you dear Sagittarius; your life will go through a tremendous transformation, for MUCH BETTER.
You have the power to conquer the world, you have the guts to confront competition you have luck on your side and you are moved by optimism and enthusiasm. You may win the lotto (but buy a ticket!) you may win a competition, you could win a prize, you have the Midas touch! Money is attracted to you.
This transit will happen again around March 2012, so you can schedule to start a new project at this time or something major in your life, because this transit won’t happen again until 2015 and even though it won’t be in your area of work, it will benefit your relationships.

This is a great opportunity for all of us to grow and expand. For most of us this beautiful planetary event will happen inwards. It will give us the assurance of our values, talents and potential and how we can use our resources positively in order to progress.

The 28th is also a sunny day for you; you are so lucky with money matters. Listen to your instincts, they are so accurate this time, but in order to get a good result, be in balance, don’t be exaggerated and have your feet on the ground.
Around the 28th until the 31st, we feel extremely optimistic and confident about the future, but if we don’t keep grounded and realistic we are one fine line away from seeing the future through pink tinted lens.
