Virgo
August will be a very peculiar month.
Mercury will be retrograding, and when this master of communication gets into this motion, we here on Earth feel like everything is going backwards instead of going forward. The events don’t unfold with the same accuracy and speed. We tend to be more forgetful and confused, feeling like no matter how much effort we make to reach our goals or have our tasks done, we hardly succeed. Astrologers agree that this is not a good or positive vibration to launch a new project or to sign a contract under.
The order at this time is to use the ‘RE’ as much as possible in your daily activities, such as Re-think, RE-do, RE-search, RE-make, Re-confirm, RE-view and so on… and wait to launch projects or initiate new ventures when Mercury is back in it’s direct motion.
Mercury starts retrograding on August 2nd and is back direct on August 28th. I like to allow 7 days before and 7 after the period to make sure the energy is distant and faded in order to start new projects, sign important contracts and make major life decisions.
Mercury is your ruler planet and it’s going to retrograde in your sign… oh well…. Life is not always easy dear Virgo and sometimes frustration, delays and misunderstandings can influence our learning process, because it teaches us to accept and be more patient and tolerant. Make sure you don’t start anything major in your life during this time or you could regret it later. And you would, trust me. Take a break and go visit your hometown or those friends you haven’t seen for long time. This is the best you can do in August.
Parallel to this planetary event, the planet Mars, which is responsible for the energy that moves us to initiate, to get started, to take action and to reach out for our goals is connecting with many planets, some connections good and some bad, raising a rush like energy to get things done, to start something up and to even be aggressive if we have to, in order to get the job done. People tend to act impetuously under Mars vibration.
Well, well, well…This combination feels to me like turning the engine of your car on and trying to drive with the emergency handbrake pulled.
So we are going to have a lot of noise and much blah, blah, blah; arguments, debates, but no solution, no deals will be made and if so, further down the line they will have to be reworked.
This is not a positive aspect for the negotiation of the US debt, and it’s not positive for the market and the financial crises we are undergoing.

The president should rush with this decision or this negotiation will get aggravated if they procrastinate until August 2nd or later.
Mars in Cancer turns his aggression and rushed energy to the matters of housing, family and emotions, raising the sensibility, making us act rashly and mindlessly when mad but it also brings about the mood to fix our homes and make it cozier and warmer. Mars enters Cancer on August 3rd, and remains in this sign until September 18th.
Mars is the planet of sex as well, so take advantage of this high libido vibration and enjoy every moment next to someone you love in a cozy, homey surrounding.
Mars will be transiting your area of friends and groups, and the area where you plan your goals and dreams. Use the month of August to gather with your friends. You know Mercury is retrograding in your sign and your friends will keep you busy, so use the time to enjoy life, laugh and have fun.
After the 8th, Mercury will move back to the sign of Leo and your life will be easier, so you could plan a trip after that. However Mercury is still your ruler planet and is still retrograding, so make sure you check your reservations before you go and make sure you have all your information correct.
The other side of Mars in this area is that you may have some conflicts with friends, so avoid arguments during this time.
Venus will be transiting the magnificent Leo most of the month of August, indicating that the best way to protect our money during this time of uncertainty is turning your investments into GOLD, solid gold. Venus is nicely transiting your area of the subconscious mind and spirituality so make some generous gestures help a person in need or a charity foundation. Some Virgos may be tempted to have a hidden affair… or with someone who is not available at the moment.
Neptune retrograding is back to Aquarius on August 4th. This is your last chance to learn the value of fraternity.

You may be very busy today, chatting with friends or networking, your mind is in full speed, despite Mercury retrograde. You may hear good news from friends.

The new Moon on August 28th is at 5º Virgo and it is aligned with Pluto. Both the Sun and the moon will receive good vibrations from Pluto and during this new moon, Mercury goes direct, so we may see the light at the end of the tunnel, and some solutions will take place.
I like this new moon in Virgo because it has the power to inspire us to reorganize our lives in every detail helping us to recreate new rules and make a great evolution based on lessons learned.
