October 2011 Horoscope
The first two weeks of October will be a little rough, thanks to the effect of the last new moon on September 27th.
For everyone in all signs, it’s advised to hold off initiating anything big like the launching of a project, an important business meeting or a romantic date, because the energies will be very hard on us.
I don’t want to distress anybody; instead I want to inform you so you may protect yourself from being frustrated by taking certain steps that may not unfold very well when, with information, you could prevent things from going off the rails.
Just observe what comes up and be impassive; don’t take anything personally because people will be in a very bad mood…
You can always improve situations with a bit of planning, so keep your agenda VERY light.
But…in the last two weeks of October we have a golden triangle in the sky, which will send extraordinary energies to improve our lives. The expansive energy of Jupiter aligns in a harmonious way with the underworld lord, Pluto.
On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Mars’s energy of action and conflicts is inflated by the Jupiter influence in a very stressful angle, so any little conflict can develop into a battle. Mars is in the loud sign of Leo and simple news can have a serious overtone, alarming all of us. So cut by half any extraordinary news you hear before you despair and take any action.
You may be moved by a subtle energy of enthusiasm that will take place in your finances. However dear Virgo, it’s time to use your practical mind and your good senses and not let yourself be taken by the excitement. If you are attentive you won’t make any mistakes, but if you get carried away moved by subconscious tendencies you can self sabotage your own interests.
On the 6th you have all the weapons to organize and budget your salary in a way that you can live very well with the same budget others would struggle to survive on.
Venus enters the mysterious sign of Scorpio; the dark side of our souls will be in focus. Love and hate will walk side by side. We become more jealous and intense in our relationships.

Venus is entering your area of siblings, cousins and neighborhood. This is a good time to start a partnership with your brother or sister on a mutual project. You may participate in an environment cause that will make you very proud of yourself.
The full moon on the 11th, at 18º Aries will be the culmination of the rough ride that started at the last new moon on September 27th. Saturn will be joining forces with the Sun in Libra and the moon on the opposite side, in Aries.
We have serious issues to take care of during this time. It’s like, we either learn our lessons on freewill or the universe will twist our arms until we bend.
This full moon will not be good for your finances; luckily your finances are well organized if you cleverly used the transit on the 6th to do so.
However this full moon’s rough energy is just bringing up the effects of something in the past that was not well planned or you didn’t make a smart decision about investments and purchasing.
Well we can never change the past but we can learn and build the future with a stronger foundation.
Mercury enters Scorpio on the 13th until November 2nd.
We want to learn and dive into the source and the core of any problem or issue. We are passionate in our speech.
Speaking of Mercury, plan your coming month of November now; Mercury will retrograde from November 24th, until December 13th. Time goes by so quickly, seems like he was retrograde a while ago. Don't buy your tickets for the holidays during this time, when he is retrograde, so make sure you make your reservation and vacation plans as early as November 17th, seven days before Mercury starts walking backward. On November 25th right after Mercury retrogrades, we have a partial solar Eclipse in Sagittarius. So plan an ‘open schedule’ in advance for that time frame when we should observe and not take any action.
We are talking about not a simple planet, but your lord, the planet that rules your sign. So anything he deals with up above in the skies, affects you down here on earth.
Mercury is moving to his own house, your area of communication which is his domain. This will accelerate your process of thought and speed up your mind set.
This is a good time for writing and all networking type jobs. You may want to upgrade your computer at this time or buy a new one.
Your mind is immersing in fantasies and romance on the 12th.
This is a great day to learn how to meditate, how to be in touch with your inner self and how to listen to your heart, which is quite difficult for Virgos, who live in a practical and grounded world. You are able to survive in any rough situation, you have the right maneuvers for difficult times dear Virgo, but you can’t detach from the material world and dive blindly in the spiritual world, because you need explanation and proof for everything. Try to release your mind out of anything that prevents you from becoming more spiritual and you can climb a few steps in your evolutional process. It pays off, trust me. I’ve been there.
On the 16th communication becomes very powerful. You can use any kind of communication vehicle to come up with information that is not visible to the rest of the world.
You can move the minds of others with relative ease dear Virgo.
Less is more on the 17th. Curb your enthusiasm and keep your feet grounded where they always used to be.
The Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd. Scorpio deals with the most fundamental process of transformation. The time the Sun crosses the path of Scorpio; we tend to act in secrecy and with intense emotional desires.
Now there is a parade of planets in your area of communication, siblings, cousins and neighborhood. The Sun will highlight these matters and they will be more relevant to you.
On the 25th 26th and 27th, Mars is in great aspect to Saturn. We gain a tremendous capacity to organize and work fast and effectively towards the ends. Our work is more productive and goal-oriented. It’s a good time to upgrade any area that is mature and ripe, like a project or a major decision.
You’ll know indeed how to take care of your finances dear Virgo, if I had to invest my money at this time, I would trust a Virgo. It’s organic; you know from your guts how to better budget your own and others’ finances.
It’s a fabulous and very lucky time for money; you may make a tremendous profit.
The new moon on the 26th at 03º Scorpio will be tough for any relationship and agreements in general. Mars is in rough aspect with Mercury and Venus, which can be translated into conflicts, riots and disagreements.
The tabloids may be gossiping about the split of a celebrity couple. The reporters will be loud and cruel when giving us the news. Drama, intensity, death and tragedy are the tone of this new moon. Jupiter is conducting the Opera across from the Sun and Moon, adding grandiosity and exaggeration. We might be super sensitive to everything we say to each other.
Well, Mercury your ruler will pick a fight with Mars during this new moon and guess who is going to be on the battlefield?
Make sure you don’t say anything without understanding the principals of what you are seeing. Even though you might hurt someone unintentionally, it doesn’t make any difference to the victim, dear Virgo.
Between October 23rd and November 3rd, Jupiter and Pluto are making the most positive and harmonious angle to each other. October 28th is the exact day.
This is a great opportunity for all of us to grow and expand. For most of us this beautiful planetary event will happen inwards. It will give us the assurance of our values, talents and potential and how we can use our resources positively in order to progress.
Jupiter's influence will be strong on planet Earth, because both planets, Jupiter and Pluto are occupying an earth sign.
It is time to look for what each of us can do differently in order to honor and love our sacred home, MOTHER NATURE.
This is an amazing energy for you dear Virgo! You have no idea how powerful these days will be in every aspect of your life. But it’s especially powerful for love affairs, creativity, kids and traveling. You may find the love of your life on a trip.
